Who has been knitting at the Milling Room in New York lately?
I have to admit I didn’t expect knitting to come up in a New York Times article concerning co-working and drop-in work spaces. And yet, there it is:
Some Spacious locations have become almost neighborhood living rooms. Samantha Moretti, managing partner at the Milling Room on New York’s Upper West Side, was surprised to find people knitting and holding after-school homework sessions when she went in before opening for dinner.
I find this especially interesting as my knitting group is meeting at a café adjoint to a co-working space here in Geneva, so it kind of rang a bell with me. We indeed always have an interesting mix of people around us, working, having meetings or having a drink.
